Jean-Sébastien Daigle, new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Conseil Québécois des Entreprises Adaptées.

Jean-Sébastien Daigle becomes President of the Conseil québécois des entreprises adaptées (CQEA), succeeding Jean-Emmanuel Arsenault after 7 years of service. CEO of Société VIA, Daigle is determined to promote adapted employment and support the CQEA's mission across Quebec.

ST-AUGUSTIN-DE-DESMAURES, JULY 6, 2022.

At a meeting of the Board of Directors on June 17, members elected Jean-Sébastien Daigle as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Conseil québécois des entreprises adaptées (CQEA). Outgoing Chairman Jean-Emmanuel Arsenault stepped down after more than 7 years on the Board.

CEO of Société VIA for 6 years, the organization operates 4 sorting centers in Quebec: Lévis, Quebec City, Saguenay and Rivière-du-Loup. A committed ambassador for the environment, the new president is delighted to be able to support the CQEA in the pursuit of its mission. “I’m proud of the confidence shown in me by the directors of the CQEA in appointing me Chairman of the Board. Our group is committed to maintaining and creating adapted jobs for people living with a disability. With this appointment, I hope to contribute to the development of our common mission throughout Quebec,” says Mr. Daigle at the start of his new mandate.

It is important to remember that this appointment was necessary following the resignation of the current president, Mr. Jean-Emmanuel Arsenault, General Manager of Axia Services. The Board of Directors would like to warmly thank Mr. Arsenault for the excellent work he has accomplished over the past 7 years as the organization’s governor. Mr. Arsenault remains a director until the next AGM.

Congratulations Jean-Sébastien!
